            Improvement of LNG vaporizer after failure


            LNG vaporizer will inevitably have different degrees of failure in use. Is there any good way to think of improvement scheme before failure, so as to avoid problems in later use?


            1. Improve the top elbow structure of LNG vaporizer


            The inner process of LNG vaporizer was adjusted, the length of elbow was increased, and the semicircular elbow was changed into U-shaped elbow to improve the deformation compensation ability of elbow caused by thermal expansion and cold contraction.


            2. Improve the welding process


            The welding process of elbow and straight finned pipe joint of LNG vaporizer was improved. The welded joint of elbow and straight finned pipe of LNG vaporizer was polished into V-shaped groove and welded by adding gasket inside. A 2mm gap was left when the elbow and straight finned pipe were assembled to ensure weld penetration and improve weld strength.
