            20000m 3 Bog calculation under leakage condition of LNG full capacity tank

            20000m 3 According to GB / T 26978.1-2011 design and construction of on-site assembled vertical cylindrical flat bottomed steel liquefied natural gas storage tank, the leakage of LNG full capacity tank can meet the requirements for tank leakage conditions in the specification only when the cylinder plate at the bottom of the inner tank has a hole with a diameter of 20mm. At the same time, in addition to small leakage conditions, Bog calculation under a large number of leakage conditions (i.e. leakage caused by tearing failure of inner tank cylinder under internal and external forces) is additionally calculated.

            2 calculation process

            According to GB / T 26978.1-2011 design and construction of field assembled vertical cylindrical flat bottom steel liquefied natural gas storage tank

            Section 7.2.2 only considers the bog leakage when the cylinder plate at the bottom of the inner tank has a hole with a diameter of 20mm.

            Design liquid level H 23m

            Low temperature LNG liquid flow rate at leakage hole:

            V= H g 2 = 23 9.81 × 2 ? =20.39m/s;

            Low temperature LNG liquid flow at leakage hole:

            Q=V × S=21.3 × π × 0.01 2

            =6.41 × 10 -3 m 3/ s

            =24.08m 3/ h

            Where s is the area size of 20mm hole, and the unit is m2

            Converted to gaseous state, i.e. bog leakage caused by 20mm hole q = 24.08 * 1250 = 30100nm 3/ h
